Hello
My name is Heather McKee, LCSW

After becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the state of Florida in 2014, I also became a certified clinical social work supervisor. Most recently I have become licensed as an Clinical Social Worker in Oregon and Washington State.
My career has offered me the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and explore many different therapeutic strategies to support my clients. Some of my specialties include maternal mental health, women's mental health, parenting concerns, work stressors, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are dealing with the complexities of depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Our work will help you process difficult emotions, learn strategies to move forward, and ultimately work toward your personal goals.

Hello
My name is Alyssa Westervelt
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
I have spent years working in the dependency system with my degree in criminal justice and seeing the gap in services for mental health inspired me into going back to school for social work and I aspire to become a licensed clinical social worker. During my time in the dependency system, I was able to become adoption competent and became a licensed foster parent. This experience allowed me to see the effects of trauma on a daily basis. From these experiences, I developed a passion to work with adolescents and young adults, but I take pleasure working with anyone who wants to achieve a life worth living.

I specialize in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which is highly structured and teaches critical skills through these four modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Emotional Regulation. My primary focus in therapy is to always make sure my clients achieve their goals. I collaborate with my clients to ensure that they feel heard, feel empowered, develop coping strategies to manage distress and to facilitate their maximal potential so that a client can have a life worth living.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, swimming, and shopping.
